Founded in September 2009 by Indian designer and web developer Imran Sherwani, GenCept follows Imran’s own experimentations and records his addiction for the world of design, which set the theme for the blog.
What began as a means for collecting the worlds most creative and inspiring work and showcasing them to my friends, is now one of the design world’s most sought after blog for inspiration. GenCept draws in more than a 10thousand design enthusiasts a day and almost million a month. We have contributors from India, Spain, France, Russia and USA, and readers from all over the globe.
The blog’s name “GenCept” is the short of “GENERATION CONCEPT”, transpiring the mission behind the blog of providing the young and futuristic inspiration content.
Hi, my name is Paritoshika Kapoor. I’m a New Delhi, India based artist, event planner, writer, blogger and freelance consultant. I manage business development here at GenCept. If you’d like to partner or advertise with us, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. If I’m not working then I’m either tinkering around with personal projects or posting cool stuff as I find. If you’re passionate about art or even an artist yourself, I’d love to connect and learn about what you do.
I’m from Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. and I have worked as a webdesigner since 2005, but websites and blogs have been a hobbie for me since 2000. Here in GenCept, I try to bring only the hot stuff for you… and hope that all of you enjoy my posts! For more cool stuff, you may follow me on Twitter: @addciteddavid
