GSC has apparently left the 2012 CLS63 AMG’s 5.5-liter turbocharged V8 engine alone, as it already puts out an impressive 518hp. Hear it roar in the clip below, shot in Monaco at the 2012 Top Marques Show.

TIKT, a German tuning company who specialise in Corvette parts and upgrades, have just released details of their latest project. Oddly, despite being named the Corvette C6 ZR1 Tripple X, the car isn’t based on a Corvette ZR1, it’s actually based on an ex-works Corvette Z06.
It’s not often you see a student-designed concept supercar which you’d like to see put into production as is, with no changes whatsoever. But somehow a trio of IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) students, Arun Kumar, Daniel Soriano and Magnus Grettve have managed to do just that. The stunning Ferrari Aliante concept was developed for the 2011 Ferrari World Design Contest.
Thing is, besides from the all-new sheetmetal, which is absolutely gorgeous, the car is built on an updated version of the DBS’s platform. Although it’s not entirely new, Aston Martin gave it a number of improvements, such as better torsional rigidity by more than 25 percent.
