Design Concept for Bollywood Museum in Film City

The Los Angeles based Yazdani Studio of Cannon Design came up with an interesting approach for the design of Bollywood Museum located in the Film City area in Mumbai, India. The new conceptual design tries to encapsulate the idea of the Hindi experience when it comes to the movie style so typical of Bollywood…

Emotions are the key feature of a typical Bollywood film and this is why the designers focused to render the idea of emotions and expressions using dynamic designs for the Museum. The design has undulating forms and they look like waves.

The museum not only explains the Bollywood influence,it is also part of this industry. What attracts people from different parts of the country or from other parts of the worls is the idea of bringing small theatres inside the museum that offer the opportunity of viewing opening ning screenings as well as important, major awards ceremonies.

The movie garden is the place to be because it allows family to gather together and enjoy picnics while watching movies. The best thing about this design of the museum is that it allows flexibility. There are spaces that look just like warehouses that exhibit Bollywood memorabilia. The Hindi cinematic experience really starts to shape up like a culture.
