A good portrait reveals something about its subject beyond the immediate appearance of the photograph. It includes layers of meaning and depth that portray the person as a whole, not just the superficial initial impression. Great portraits give us an idea of who the person really is, beyond what they’re trying to outwardly depict. Featuring today are the work of very young and talented Photographer from New Delhi, India – “Paritoshika Kapoor”. She started photography first as course, then as a hobby and now hobby turned talented professional photographer.
Since childhood, I adored pictures of the famous Wild Life Photographer “Mike Pandey”. His work inspired me. Flabbergasted with the art of Photography, I started shooting at the age of 7. My first click was subjected on my beautiful Mother. However, I could not keep her head in frame! As they say “practice makes a man perfect” I practiced Photography on my own for 14 years. I got chance to polish my skills and refine my art; when, I entered Post graduation Diploma in Development Communication from AJK MCRC Jamia Millia Islamia.
