Almost five years ago Telegraph launched the Big Picture competition, inviting readers of the Daily Telegraph to send them photographs depicting all that is weird and wonderful in the world of travel. Since then they have received tens of thousands of responses.
As they approach the competition’s 250th round in early 2013, the standard of entries continues to delight and impress them. Currently the competition is only open to those aged 18 years of age and over but next year will also see an opportunity for younger readers to get involved in the competition for the first time. See telegraph.co.uk/travel in the spring for more details.
