In a shocking attack, two men were stabbed in an apparent homophobic assault outside of a south London nightclub on Sunday night. With both victims receiving treatment in hospital, the Metropolitan Police is currently investigating the incident, which occurred at the Two Brewers in Clapham High Street.
Both men in their 20s and 30s have since been sent home from hospital. Det. Insp. Gary Castle reported that the stabbing is being treated as “homophobic” and expressed his awareness of the shock it has caused members of the LGBT+ community. As of yet, no arrests have been made.
